Mountain Trade Network is the first global network for everyone working in the mountain economy with a series of exciting live and virtual events for 2023. Winter Insight is delighted to join as a media partner for the second year running.

Mountain Trade Network connects a growing community of mountain professionals via the MTN platform and at their live and virtual events including LISTEX (London International Snowsports Trade Exchange), SASTEX (Summer Alpine Sports Trade Exchange) and LISTEX Luxury.

LISTEX Luxury, Southbank Centre, London – 14 June

LISTEX Luxury is the exclusive trade & press event for the Luxury Alpine Market. In its second year, the event has already secured over 25 UK luxury buyers and a growing portfolio of luxury hotel and accommodation providers, resorts and mountain services. Encompassing three key elements – the Trade Exchange (pre-scheduled meetings with buyers and suppliers), Forum sessions (including the latest luxury consumer research) and networking. Networking components include an evening cruise down the river Thames aboard the Golden Jubilee boat with live music, fantastic food and the company of mountain travel press and media. LISTEX – ExCeL Centre, London – 17-19 October

LISTEX is the London trade event for snowsports professionals. Now in its 11th year, it is moving to a new London location, ExCeL Centre, as part of the UK’s National Snow Week. The event has grown to three days; the first two days encompass the Trade Exchange (meetings between buyers, suppliers and media). And the third day is now a dedicated Press and Forum day with MTN’s leading consumer research survey.

Suppliers include tourist boards, hotels, ski schools, accommodation providers, transfer companies, airlines, activity operators or any of those providing an alpine service or products. Buyers include Iglu Ski, Ski Club of Great Britain, Inghams/ Hotelplan, Absolutely Snow, Ski Solutions, Mountain Heaven, Sunweb, Ski Club Freshtracks, Mountain Tracks, Equity Ski, HEIDI, Skiworld, Club Europe, Inspire Ski, Snow-Wise, Erna Low, NUCO Travel, Ski Yodl, Corporate Ski Specialists, STC Ski, The Corporate Ski Company, Neilson, Ski Weekends, Mountain Beds, Born2Ski and more.

MTN Virtual events

The LISTEX & SASTEX Virtual event took place on the MTN platform on 9 and 10 May. Over 85 buyers, suppliers, media and press came together for two days of meetings and Forum sessions, virtually. Attendees pre-scheduled meetings with buyers and suppliers, with meetings taking place from offices or place of work. Suppliers included Val d’Isère, Hotel Tannenhof, Chamonix, Post Lech Hotel, Alpine Gold Hotel Davos, Jungfrau, Serre Chevalier, Austrian National Tourist Office, Madonna di Campiglio, Aosta Valley, Les Etincelles Collection, Anzere Tourism, Val di Fassa Tourist board, Trentino and more.

Four insightful Forum sessions took place on MTN, including the latest summer and winter consumer industry research, sustainability and a ‘four seasons model’ approach to mountain holidays.
