Völkl Blaze Junior vMotion Review

The Völkl Blaze Junior vMotion combines the Blaze’s youth platform with a premounted binding plate. It is designed for young skiers wanting versatility across resort terrain, with an 86mm waist defining its position in the collection.

Völkl lists 3D Radius Sidecut and tip and tail rocker. These features support the ski’s mixed-condition brief, giving it a different emphasis from narrow junior models aimed mainly at learning on groomed slopes.

Lengths run from 118 to 158cm. Compare the exact dimensions and radii for the selected size, and choose according to the skier’s ability and usual terrain rather than the model name alone.

The key buying detail is the vMotion plate. The official specification states that bindings are not included, even though the plate is premounted. Check the recommended compatible binding separately and arrange individual retailer setup before use.

Compared with the flat Blaze Junior, this version offers a defined system interface. It should not be assumed to include the same flexibility for a separate touring configuration.

Visit Völkl’s website for the full specification and current availability. The Blaze Junior vMotion suits a junior resort setup, particularly when a wider ski and compatible system binding are central priorities.
