Ron Kruszewski, chairman of Stifel Financial Corp. and a U.S. Ski & Snowboard trustee, hosted the 11th annual Stifel U.S. Ski Team Fundraiser in St. Louis on Sept. 12, 2027, raising a record $1.35 million to benefit the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation. The funds will support programs, training and athlete development for the Stifel U.S. Ski Team.
This year’s event theme was “Snowchella,” a nod to the popular Coachella music festival with a winter sports spin. The event brought together business leaders, clients, partners, friends and supporters for an evening benefiting the future of the Stifel U.S. Ski Team.
“These athletes don’t just bring home medals, they bring home pride, and that’s something to support — in as many ways as we can. Everywhere they go — as ambassadors to other countries, role models for kids, faces of brands — these athletes wear the Stifel name. They pursue excellence with the same fervor we do, and we are proud to support them,” said Stifel Chairman and CEO Ron Kruszewski.
Six U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes attended the fundraiser, including three-time Olympic gold medalist alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin, Olympic gold medalist freeskier Alex Ferreira, two-time Paralympic gold medalist snowboarder Noah Elliott, World Championships medalist alpine skier Lauren Macuga, moguls skier Alli Macuga and ski jumper Sam Macuga.
“In our 11th year of the St. Louis fundraiser, Ron and the community—once again—raised the bar, bringing in a record $1,350,000 for the Stifel U.S. Ski Team. Together, we have raised over 10 million dollars in the last 11 years…and that’s because of (and thanks to) Ron, Stifel and the St. Louis community,” said Shiffrin. “I personally have been honored and privileged to attend this fundraiser every year since inception, and I can’t thank the St. Louis community enough for this support. It is SO beneficial for our entire team.”

The event has grown into one of U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s largest fundraisers, reflecting Stifel’s long-standing commitment to giving back to its partners and the communities it serves.
