2026–27 Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team announced

U.S. Ski & Snowboard officially announced the 28 athletes who have accepted their nominations and are officially named to the 2026-27 Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team rosters for moguls and aerials. All athletes qualified for the team based on existing freestyle moguls and aerials criteria.

Three-time Olympic silver medalist and 2025 dual moguls world champion Jaelin Kauf leads the moguls athletes into the season alongside 2026 Olympic gold and bronze medalist Liz Lemley. Nick Page takes the reins on the men’s side, having finished the 2025-26 season ranked third in the moguls standings. Kaila Kuhn, Chris Lillis and Connor Curran are back for the aerials team after their gold medal-winning performance at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in the team event, as well as four-time World Championship medalist Quinn Dehlinger. The Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team aerials athletes have taken home the win in the last two Olympic and World Championship aerials team events – something that has never been done before. Curran has been promoted to the aerials A team after a strong performance in the Olympic team event in Milano Cortina. It was Curran’s first Olympics, which followed a World Cup podium and three super finals finishes on the circuit last season. New to the aerials roster this season is Beaudin Napolitano. During the 2025-26 season, he made multiple World Cup appearances and earned a NorAm podium, finishing in the top 10 in the overall NorAm Cup rankings. He wrapped the year with a bronze medal performance at the 2026 FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships in the aerials team event.

“At the Olympics, we took home four of the six available medals in women’s moguls and the gold in the aerials team event,” said Matt Gnoza, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Freestyle Sport Director. “This season, our focus is on building on that momentum and continuing to raise the performance level across the entire program. We see a real opportunity for growth on both the men’s moguls and men’s aerials sides, and with new staff and athletes stepping into expanded roles, I’m excited about the depth, energy and potential of this team.”

The 2026-27 Azerbaijan FIS Freestyle World Cup season begins in Ruka, Finland, on Dec. 12, 2026, for the moguls athletes. After a holiday break, the circuit resumes in Canada in January to kick off the North American tour, with multiple stops at home in the U.S.: the Waterville Freestyle Cup presented by Stifel at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, and the Freestyle International presented by Stifel in Deer Valley, Utah. The aerials athletes begin their season in Lac-Beauport, Quebec, Canada, in January, then head to Lake Placid, New York, before joining the moguls athletes in Deer Valley, Utah. Both teams then travel across the world to China, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan before wrapping the season at the 2027 FIS Freestyle World Championships in Montafon, Austria, in March.
