Adventurous summer in Andermatt for children and young people
Children and young people can look forward to a sporty and adventurous summer in Andermatt. The Andermatt Adventure Camps take place from 15 to 26 July, offering activities such as archery, dancing, treasure hunts and visits to the goat farm.
A highlight is the Klapperlapapp family festival on 20 and 21 July. In addition, young guests can explore the region on themed trails, in the fairy tale gondola or on the smuggler trail throughout the summer.
The Adventure Camps offer young guests a varied program of outdoor and indoor activities. Two five-day camps are offered, divided into two age groups: 5 to 8 years and 9 to 13 years. The first camp takes place from July 15 to 19, the second from July 22 to 26. The 5-day pass for CHF 700 includes supervision for five days, lunch, all activities, a cable car ticket to Nätschen station for seven days and a ticket per child for the Klapperlapapp family festival on July 20 and 21. Summer fun for the whole family at the Klapperlapapp Festival
On 20 and 21 July, the Klapperlapapp family festival will take place for the first time in Andermatt. The programme will take place during the day in the Matti family restaurant and in the evening on Piazza Gottardo. The festival promises entertainment for all ages with fairy tales, stories, games, delicacies and musical entertainment. Family holidays at special rates
During the Andermatt Adventure Camps, the hotels The Chedi Andermatt, Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen and Andermatt Alpine Apartments offer special family packages. In addition, the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen and The Chedi Andermatt will be offering a new Kids Club and special offers for children starting this summer.
Other attractions in the region
In the holiday region, there are opportunities for young guests to discover things all summer long. For example, on the theme trail “Molly the marmot’s favourite places,” on the “Gloria Trail Lutersee” or on the smuggler trail. Another highlight is the fairy tale gondola: in summer, some of the Gütsch Express gondolas are transformed into fairy tale rooms.
If you like sports, you’ll find what you’re looking for in Andermatt Mitte. A multi-sports arena, two padel courts, a beach volleyball court, a bike trail park, two climbing rocks and a large trampoline are available. A barbecue area invites you to take a break in between. Indoor sports facilities are also available. The new sports studio has a squash court, table tennis, bouldering walls and a multi-purpose hall.
