Skida extends U.S. Ski & Snowboard partnership with athlete-designed accessories
Vermont accessories brand Skida is entering its fourth season as an official partner of U.S. Ski & Snowboard and has announced a new collection of co-branded winter accessories for 2026–27.
The capsule includes neck warmers, headbands and hats featuring a ‘Star Power’ pattern hand-painted by Skida founder Corinne Prevot. The design connects the brand’s distinctive visual identity with the national team’s competitive season.
Connecting athletes and fans
Skida also plans collaborations with three Olympians, including two medallists from the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Its partnership strategy links the athletes, the race calendar and supporters looking for accessories associated with the team.
Prevot said the company hopes fans attending domestic World Cup events will wear the same gear as the competitors they are supporting. The programme places accessories within a wider sporting community rather than positioning them solely as cold-weather essentials.
Retail relevance
For winter-sports retailers, athlete collaborations can give relatively accessible accessories a clear story at the point of sale. The Skida announcement also illustrates how distinctive design and an established team relationship can help specialist brands compete in a crowded seasonal category.
The collection’s availability and precise product specifications should be checked against Skida’s official sales channels before any retailer makes stocking commitments.
