Tamarack Resort enters SKI Magazine’s top 25 resorts in the West

Tamarack Resort has been named the number 25 ski resort in the West in SKI Magazine’s 2027 Resort Guide, marking its debut in the publication’s western rankings.

The ranking is based on a reader survey covering 18 categories. Tamarack said guests highlighted its value, family atmosphere, staff, grooming and uncrowded slopes.

“Being named among the top 25 ski resorts in the West is a tremendous honor,” said Scott Turlington. “It’s especially meaningful because this recognition comes directly from skiers and snowboarders who have experienced Tamarack firsthand. It’s a testament to our team and the exceptional destination we’re building here.”

Located around 90 miles north of Boise, Idaho, Tamarack offers 2,800 vertical feet of skiing across 2,000 mountain acres, with 59 runs and three terrain parks.

For the 2026/27 season, Tamarack has joined the Ikon Pass as a Bonus Mountain, offering pass holders two complimentary days. The resort has also introduced refreshed rental equipment, guided mountain tours and additional programming.
