ESKA returns to UK with Compass Brands
The glove expert’s range includes a broad choice of winter sports and ski gloves
Austrian brand ESKA is now working with Compass Brands in the UK.
ESKA has been making gloves since 1912. Josef Eska began making classic leather gloves also supplying the military in what is now the Czech Republic, also known as Czechia.
Following expulsion, the family started all over again in Austria just after WW2 and the company is now managed by the fourth generation of the same family, located in Thalheim bei Wels in Upper Austria.
Engineered in Austria, where the top end luxury gloves are still hand-made, the range includes a broad choice of winter sports and ski gloves from everyday use to cashmere-lined, leather luxury; ESKA also manufactures gloves for firefighters and the military.
Co-founder of Compass Brands, Adam Renshaw, said: “We’re delighted to be working with ESKA, a brand which shares all our values when it comes to quality, heritage, performance, style and, importantly, customer service.”
Alex Gitschthaler, ESKA’s Export Manager, added: “Having resolved the issues caused by Brexit, we are thrilled to have found a new partner in Compass Brands which allows us once again to offer the ESKA range to the key UK & Irish markets.”
Next month, ESKA will be at the SLIDE & OTS WINTER trade show with Compass Brands on stand B6.
