Behind the scenes, Mt Buller was in full swing with early lift operations, and all hands-on deck to support the smooth delivery of the event. From 4am starts to late evening wrap-ups, the mountain’s operations, events, grooming and guest services teams pulled together to create an exceptional race day experience for students, schools and families.
The XC Championships are a key step towards National Interschools, returning to Mt Buller this September. Beyond the medals and podiums, the event celebrates participation, school spirit, and a shared love of snowsports. This was on full display in every cheer, ski stride and sprint to the finish at Tirol Flat. The countdown is ON to the Mogul Ski World Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships 18-24 August including Multisport event 18-20 August, followed by Nationals in early September.
