
Thanks to its new cable-car, the Jandri, Les 2 Alpes offers access to the high-altitude summits across all seasons.
The Jandri, which is the biggest new development in Les 2 Alpes and the most significant project in the French Alps in the last 10 years, allows the resort to adapt to the changing conditions and stay open most of the year.
In less than 20 minutes, skiers, pedestrians and mountain bikers can travel from the resort at 1,650 metres to the top of the mountains at 3,200 metres.

• The longest ski season in France
Les 2 Alpes has 200km of slopes. With 75% of the ski area above 2,000 metres, quality skiing is guaranteed in Les 2 Alpes from late November to early May.
This year, on 4 May, the bottom part of the ski area will close, and from 5 to 28 May, the ski area between 3,600m and 2,600m will stay open. From 29 May to 6 July, only the summits, from 3,600m to 3,200m will operate.
The snow park will be open from 5 May to 6 July.

International teams also come at this time to train and from 10 to 18 May, the resort will host the World Rookie Tour. International snowboarders meet in Les 2 Alpes for a week of camps (juniors and under 17s) followed by a weekend of Slopestyle contest on the 2 Alpes snowpark, at 3400 m. Mountain bike tracks from 3,200m to 900m, as well as the Télémixte du Diable will be open every weekend from 8 May to 9 June, then every day from 14 June to 31 August. Les 2 Alpes’ mountain biking schools will offer lessons until the end of the summer.

Pedestrians will also be able to take the Jandri and the Diable lift during these weekends then the summer to go hiking or just to enjoy the breathtaking views.
The new Jandri has been designed to be accessible to everyone, including people with reduced mobility. The cabins have wide doors and spaces suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. It guarantees an inclusive experience for all visitors.
At 3,200m, visitors can enjoy a drink or lunch at “LE 3200” restaurant while taking in the breathtaking view.
Other activities are available as well such as tandem paragliding flights, the skatepark and climbing wall. From June, more activities are on offer such as the summer luge, the swimming pool…and more.
● Easy access from the UK
Several airports are close to Les 2 Alpes (Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry), plus it is also very easy to access by train. You can take the Eurostar to Paris, change from Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon (it’s easier than you’d think!) and then take the TGV to Grenoble (three hours). From Grenoble station, there are several buses per day.
