Norrona is a highly technical mountain clothing brand from Norway. Norrona could be described as minimalist, as it avoids all superfluous details and goes for the essential. Norrona was the very first brand to use GORE-TEX technology, back in the late 1970s.
We’d like to tell a story. It’s the story of curiosity, courage, and endurance. It’s a story from nature. It began back in 1929 when Jørgen Jørgensen created durable equipment to perform in Norway’s wild and challenging mountains. Starting with simple innovations he set Norrøna’s direction to search for the best in technical advancements and to create the ultimate performance products.
