UK skiers and snowboarders have the chance to win a Canadian snow holiday for two as the Snowsports Industries of Great Britain (SIGB) launches a competition in partnership with Big White Ski Resort and Frontier Ski.
Running from 1 October 2026 to 1 April 2027, the promotion rewards eligible purchases from participating SIGB retailers with an opportunity to enter a prize draw for a winter getaway to British Columbia.
What’s included in the Big White holiday prize?
The prize includes seven nights’ accommodation for two in a Superior Hotel Room, six days of skiing or snowboarding for two, return Air Canada flights from the UK and return airport transfers.
Winners will also receive a guided mountain tour on their first day, a dining certificate for The Woods slopeside restaurant and tubing tickets for two.
How to enter
UK residents aged 18 or over can enter by spending £250 or more on eligible ski or snowboard hardgoods or softgoods at a participating SIGB retailer during the competition period and submitting proof of purchase through the competition website.
Eligible purchases include skis, ski boots, bindings, poles, snowboards, snowboard boots, helmets, goggles, outerwear, baselayers, luggage, avalanche safety equipment and servicing equipment.
Entries close at midnight on 1 April 2027. The winner will be chosen at random from valid entries. A no-purchase entry route is also available; full terms and conditions apply.
Experience Big White in British Columbia
Big White Ski Resort offers more than 3,140 hectares of terrain, from groomed slopes for beginners to challenging backcountry terrain. Its ski-in, ski-out village provides convenient access to the mountain.
The holiday prize is valid during the 2027–28 winter season, subject to availability and blackout dates.
Supporting specialist UK snowsports retailers
Alongside promoting a Canadian winter destination, SIGB says the competition aims to encourage customers to shop with independent and specialist snowsports retailers across the UK.
