Iwan Bitschin becomes new Head of Marketing and Communications for the Saas-Fee/Saastal destination

Iwan Bitschin has been working as Product and Sales Manager at Saastal Tourismus AG since November 2024

The Saas-Fee/Saastal Tourism Organization is setting the course for the future: 29-year-old Iwan Bitschin from Saas-Fee will take over as Head of Marketing and Communications effective December 1, 2025. He succeeds Mattia Storni, who has shaped the position over the past six years with great commitment and strategic vision.

With Iwan Bitschin, the tourism organization gains a locally rooted and highly educated individual. A native of Saas, he holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Bern University of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree in innovation management and entrepreneurship from the Munich Business School.

After completing his studies, Bitschin initially worked as an innovation consultant in Munich. He then took on the role of Technical Business Manager at agap2 Switzerland in Zurich, where his responsibilities included leading a team of around 15 consultants, managing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities.

Iwan Bitschin has been working as Product and Sales Manager at Saastal Tourismus AG since November 2024. He also impressed last year with his dedicated participation in the organizing committee of the Swiss Snow Happening, where he made a significant contribution to the event’s successful implementation.

With this personnel decision, the Board of Directors of Saastal Tourismus AG is consistently continuing its path of recruiting and promoting local talent with sound training and offering them development opportunities within the company. This not only strengthens the regional roots but also the future viability of the tourism organization.
