Lighting the way forward: Silva to sponsor and light up Swedish night ski race Nattvasan

Silva has announced it be the official sponsorship partner with Vasaloppet for the gruelling nighttime cross-country ski event, Nattvasan on the 27th of February. The pioneering outdoor equipment brand will support Nattvasan 30, Nattvasan 45, and Nattvasan 90 during Vasaloppet’s Winter Week 2026 which starts on the 20th February and ends on the 1st March.

Through the partnership, Silva takes on a key role in lighting up Nattvasan and contributing to both safety and an improved experience during the races. Silva’s headlamps are a steadfast and trusted companion for many athletes training for Vasaloppet’s various events – whether it’s skiing, cycling, or running. As the official Nattvasan partner, Silva will continue to develop products and concepts that help people see further, experience more, and move safely in the dark – in the same spirit of outdoor tradition, innovation, and the joy of movement.

Silva has a long-spanning connection to the event. The brand was a partner when Nattvasan was first launched during Vasaloppet’s Winter Week in 2017, a collaboration that was recognised with the Best Sponsorship of the Year award at the Gyllene Hjulet Gala the same year. Now, this renewed collaboration strengthens Silva and Vasaloppet’s shared goal: to further develop and elevate the Nattvasan experience while encouraging more people to train and stay active throughout the year.
