28 new chalets & flexible cancellation with the OVO Network

Chalet specialist OVO Network adds 28 new chalets, alongside new flexible cancellation for additional peace of mind

28 new chalets and Flexible cancellation – offering a 90% refund for cancellations up to two days before arrival – has been launched by high-end chalet specialist OVO Network for winter 2024/25.

The company, which has over 200 chalets in authentic Alpine resorts (such as Le Grand Bornand, Combloux, Samoëns, Châtel and Saint-Gervais), has undergone a major re-brand over the last year, with a commitment to deliver the best mountain holidays and proactively support mountain communities across the seasons.

As winter 2024/25 approaches, a choice of two new cancellation policies give OVO Network guests the security of knowing their money is safe, should they need to cancel –

  • STANDARD Option – cancel up to eight weeks before arrival and get a full refund of the monies paid.
  • Koala FLEX Option – guests pay a small premium and can cancel up to two days before arrival for any reason and receive a 90% refund of the monies paid. This innovative service is offered in partnership with travel insurance specialist Koala.

Chris Thompson, Director of OVO Network, said: “In an uncertain world, cancellation terms have become a key part of the buying decision for many holidaymakers. We wanted to give guests a choice of options, enabling them to select the cancellation policy that best suits their individual needs. Booking an OVO Network chalet with Koala Flex provides guests with peace of mind should their plans change for any reason.”

New OVO Network properties for winter 2024/25 include –

  • Chalet Etoile Nordique in  Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce near Saint-Gervais. With views of Mont Blanc, the chalet is 2km from the slopes and has a private outdoor swimming pool in summer. Sleeps up to 10 guests (eight adults), with 7-nights rental from €2490.
  • Chalet Vardache in Cordon near Megève. Ski-in ski-out at this lovely chalet with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc. Sleeping up to 13 guests, it has a huge terrace where you can watch the ski lifts pass overhead. 7-nights rental from €1990.
  • Chalet Lezopau in Samoëns. With a Nordic bath on the terrace and a petanque court in the garden, this chalet also offers bikes for guests’ use. Sleeping up to 11 guests, 7-nights rental starts from €2790.

Chris added: “We’ve added some fabulous new properties for the coming winter season – both large chalets and smaller properties, providing something for all group sizes. While every property is unique, the common factor is that they are all in authentic Alpine destinations, rather than the purpose-built resorts that often lack character.

“Over the last few years we’ve seen more and more skiers putting the chalet and its facilities first – above proximity to the slopes. While we have ski-in ski-out properties, we also have many chalets that are perhaps 10 to 20 minutes’ drive from the lifts that are hugely popular. It’s now as much about the chalet and the overall mountain experience as it is about the skiing, particularly for the family market.”

Also new this year is OVO Network’s Loyalty Programme, which rewards guests with a 7.5% discount when they book another stay at their favourite property.

There’s also a growing range of the popular Cool for Kids chalets, each hand-picked to offer a complete range of facilities that make it easier to travel with children. Everything from bottle warmers and stair gates to games, table tennis and even Playstations are included at selected chalets.

All OVO Network chalets are available for rent throughout the year. For more information on the full range of chalets and apartments for winter 2024/25 visit ovonetwork.com.
