My love of winter and skiing started back when I was 7 on a trip to Mayrhofen with the family followed by yearly school ski trips with my mums’ school to various resorts around Europe and Canada. At 18, I trained to become an Instructor in Quebec Canada followed by an incredible ski season in Tignes as a ski guide.

Back in the UK I worked as an instructor at the Snozone in Milton Keynes when it 1st opened in the year 2000 followed by working at Lockwoods Ski and Outdoor as a ski tech and boot fitter where I learnt the intricacies of boot fitting, footbeds and feet from some of the best in the business. The friendships built with others in the industry here paved the way to opportunities working as a Salomon Tech Rep and then my first full rep position with the AMG group and Rossignol.

A few years on led me to work with TKC Sales as the rep for Lowa footwear and then Tecnica/Blizzard. Earlier this year the Tecnica Group made the decision to work directly with the ski and outdoor trade in the UK rather than through the distribution set up with TKC and appointed myself as the UK sales agent for the Tecnica, Blizzard and Tecnica Outdoor brands which prompted me to set up the Active Peak Ltd. sales agency.

Blizzard Brand:

In 1945 Toni Arnsteiner came back home after the World War II and built his first pair of skis in his carpentry workshop in Mittersill, Austria.

More than seventy years later, still in Mittersill, those skis continue to be produced.

Blizzard products have been capable of winning the most valuable medals of ski competitions (such as the Gold Medal at Sochi 2014 with Mario Matt); at the same time the brand is continuously evolving in styles and disciplines, becoming an absolute reference point in the freeride world.

The Blizzard R&D team are incredible and ensure that they go the extra mile to produce the best possible skis in the market. Never cutting corners and coming up with innovative ideas such as FlipCore and True Blend WoodCore technology which take longer and are more complicated to produce but deliver the perfect balance of power and performance at each level to maximise the enjoyment of the consumer.
