Nika Prevc (SLO) bounced back from yesterday’s disqualification with a statement victory in Wisła, Poland, on Friday.
Jumps of 128m and 130m helped the reigning Crystal Globe champion reach a total of 259.7 points, finishing 12.8 points clear of teammate Nika Vodan (SLO). Eirin Maria Kvandal (NOR) rounded out the podium in third.
It is Prevc’s first-ever victory in Poland and her second World Cup win of the season.
The 20-year-old Slovenian set the tone with her opening 128m jump, earning 130.5 points and establishing a 9.9-point lead over teammate and top-qualifier Vodan.
Prevc never relinquished that advantage, and a strong second jump of 130m (129.2 points) secured her triumph.
