Atomic launches Nexus: intuitive performance meets effortless entry

For decades, skiers have accepted a trade-off: easy-entry boots can sacrifice performance, while high-performance boots can be difficult to put on and take off. With the all-new Nexus, Atomic says it has eliminated that compromise through a new boot construction designed to deliver intuitive performance without sacrificing convenience.

Designed for progressive on-piste and all-mountain skiers, Nexus rethinks how a ski boot should fit, function and perform. At the heart of the collection is NexStep Construction, a new boot architecture that combines the downhill performance of a traditional overlap boot with effortless entry and exit.

Atomic Nexus 120 BOA headlines the range

Headlining the collection is the Atomic Nexus 120 BOA, featuring a 101mm last and a powerful flex. Integrated dual pivots work with NexStep Construction to balance comfort, mobility and efficient power transmission, with the aim of delivering confident performance from first chair to last run.

The QuickFlip Lever is designed to make stepping in and out simple, while the Set-and-Forget cuff buckle minimises the need for repeated adjustments throughout the day. A BOA Fit System provides precise, micro-adjustable fit, while the Adaptive Fit System Cuff allows skiers to fine-tune volume.

Inside, a Mimic Platinum Liner and Memory Fit technology create a personalised fit for lasting comfort and control.

Seven-model Nexus family

The Nexus family includes models with a range of flex ratings: Nexus 130 BOA, Nexus 120 BOA, Nexus 110 BOA, Nexus 110, Nexus 105 BOA W, Nexus 95 BOA W and Nexus 95 W.

Atomic describes Nexus as a new approach to ski boot design intended to remove one of skiing’s oldest compromises: easy entry combined with powerful downhill performance.
