Many brands have been adapting downhill boots by adding hike modes to create a freeride boot. Lange have taken the leightweight materials used in freetour boots and replaced their existing (more heavy) shell to offer all the performance you’d need but at greatly reduced weight.

Lange’s revolutionary Dual Core technology meets an ultra-light Grilamid® shell construction to deliver a new premium blend of precision, agility, and power.Built on the award-winning RX chassis, this limited-edition version features ultra-light shell and liner engineering for an almost 25% reduction in weight, supplying elevated all-mountain performance for only the most committed skiers. Lange’s new DUAL CORE construction targets softer and more rigid durometers of ultra-lightweight Grilamid® plastic to key areas of the boot to enhance performance and entry-and-exit, resulting in a sandwich shell construction that increases energy, rebound, and flex control.
