The store is locally owned and operated by Dave MacDowell who is also the owner of the Smartwool Banff store which opened in 2018. “The Whistler location is reflective of Smartwool’s commitment of meeting their customer where they are and what better place than at the heart of one of the world’s most iconic resorts,” said MacDowell. With the Whistler store, our goal was to elevate local mountain culture while showcasing the brand’s focus on community, sustainability, and inclusivity in the outdoors.’’ Customers can expect a warm welcome from the team who all share a passion for the mountains and the gear that comes with each adventure.
