Charles Werb, VP Global Business Development, Adventure Entertainment, said: “Adventure Entertainment, have been doing Warren Miller in Australia for a long time. We were approached in 2019 to take Warren Miller in the UK, which we successfully launched in 2019-2020, which was a difficult year with COVID. This year’s Warren Miller is fantastic. It’s exciting. We’ve got the contract for another three years. So, we’re determined to bring it back to where it was in early 2010-15, where it was screening in great old theatres. It was screening in IMAX, it was screening nationally and working with a cinema chain as well. And we think we’ve successfully put that together this year.”
Warren Miller Entertainment has been a pioneer in action sports cinematography since 1949. Warren’s legacy lives on and continues to be the leader in snow and adventure sports film production.
Charles said: “The interesting thing, is that Daymaker is the very, very first film that has been made by the Warren Miller group, the Outside Group, that has not had paid segments in it. So, you would understand how it previously played out. There was always a segment that was like, not so much a travelogue but it was filmed in Switzerland, or it was filmed in Austria, or it was filmed at Jackson Hole, etc. This year’s film has been made independently because Outside wanted to create a real film. So, they’ve worked with brands, they’ve worked with athletes and they’ve done things completely differently. I’ve been fortunate enough to see the film and it’s a cracker. It really is.”
Daymaker promises to take you on a journey to peaks so high, that they’ll replace the mountains in your mind with ones that free your mind. From British Columbia’s Monashee mountains to the throne of Greece’s Olympus mountains, Alaska and beyond. Join Karl Fostvedt, Michelle Parker, Katie Burrell, Hana Beaman, Jonny Moseley and many other world-class athletes demonstrating incredible stunts and scenery that will help you kick-start your winter.
With the USA tour already in full swing there have been fantastic reviews from across the Atlantic. Best watched on a big screen, this is a film tour not to be missed. View the trailer and find out more at www.warrenmiller.co.uk

Charles added: “We’ve introduced a brand new magazine to the UK snow market called Chill Factor at the National Snow show four weeks ago, we’ve had a great response to it. We love seeing people buying subscriptions for next year and the year after. It’ll be in most retail partners of our. We have our women’s adventure film tour that launches in March across the UK. We’ve got our climbing film, that’ll be out in December, a running film that’ll be out in September. So, we’re certainly coming back with a vengeance into markets where we were just starting to grow very quickly. We would want to get our streaming platform into the market in a big way in the UK as well. So, people that do come to Warren Miller, they’re going to get a free 90-day subscription to the ADVENTURE+ streaming platform. There are over 650 adventure films on that platform at the moment and new ones being added every week. And this subscription is £39 a year.”
