Sun Peaks (British Columbia, Canada) | Ski Resorts

Deep steeps, long cruisers, glade zones, powder stashes, and corduroy groomers can all be found within 4,270 acres of skiable terrain. Three mountains surround a European-style, ski-through village filled with quaint shops, cafés, and eateries. Sun Peaks has an abundance of activities and events for both on and off the slopes, leaving you wishing only for more time at Canada’s second largest ski area. We were thrilled to be named in National Geographic’s Best Winter Trips of 2019 article, a testament to our terrain and conditions, and overall village vibe and amenities.

Sun Peaks’ 4,270 acres is spread across three skiable peaks, each with a personality all their own. Each mountain is easily accessible from the village, so ski all three in the same day or stick to the area that you love the most. Sun Peaks receives 6 metres of snow annually, and the mountains become covered with light, dry powder that is famous to the interior of BC. There are countless things to do both on and off the slopes at Sun Peaks. Experience a thrilling dog sled ride, learn to ice fish with a local guide, or check out our skating rink with family and friends.
