A relaxed atmosphere, varied music program and breathtaking backdrops: The Saas Valley will be enriched by a unique event with local character and national appeal.
Baschi, Anna Rossinelli Trio, Baba Shrimps and other acts promise hours of carefree live music in the midst of the 4,000m mountains of the Saas Valley.
The first edition of the SaasFeestival offers five concert moments at three different locations. The entire Saas Valley will be transformed into a large open-air stage for four weeks.
The starting shot will be fired on Saturday, July 16, with the Family Day on the Kreuzboden above Saas-Grund. Children’s activities and a festive mood to the sounds of the evergreen z’Hansrüedi guarantee carefree moments.
The highlight of the new festival are the three evenings on the village square in Saas-Fee: Baschi, Anna Rossinelli Trio and Baba Shrimps , accompanied by Pat Burgener, Freitagsauto and The neighbors promise unforgettable musical evenings in the heart of the car-free glacier village.
The grand finale will take place on August 12 on the village square in Saas-Almagell with the band Wintershome from Zermatt, which will ensure a close in the spirit of the festival with a local character and national appeal.
Admission to the concerts is free, in keeping with the concept of an open festival that is accessible to all.
The new festival, organized by Saastal Tourismus AG, is supported to a large extent by the Erlebnisbank Raiffeisen Mischabel-Matterhorn as presenting partner. The Walliserhof Grand Hotel & SPA supports the event as a partner hotel.
