Lake Louise (Alberta, Canada) | Ski Resorts

We invite you to release yourself into over 4200 acres of diverse terrain over four mountain faces (that’s 160 runs – with our longest expanding over 8km – plus back bowls and West Bowl to explore). Feel the thrill that comes from exploring our unique layout of ski runs, with beginner, intermediate and expert routes from nearly every chair. When you ski or snowboard here, you’ll quickly feel at home (and that’s before you settle down for some much-deserved fireside après). We keep it simple: no fancy boutiques, overpriced restaurants, or “resort feel”, just pure, awesome ski.

West Bowl is a vast area capped by the summit of Whitehorn Mountain, on the front face of the resort. It offers breathtaking views of the majestic Canadian Rockies, overlooking the Bow Valley and the scenic backdrop of Lake Louise and Victoria Glacier. Located west of the ski resort’s base, this new area of wilderness ski and snowboard terrain will carry-on the reputation of Lake Louise’s back bowls, but in this case on the front side. To facilitate this grand opening, a two-kilometre long ski-out has been constructed from the bottom of the various chutes, gullies and bowls comprising West Bowl, to the junction of Men’s Downhill and Juniper Jungle.
