Lange are no stranger to the Ski Boot world & have been around since 1948, you can check out their rather interesting Brand History HERE.
Their UK Brand Manager, Scott Dobson, kindly sent me a pair of their new XT3 PRO Boots, which are part of their new XT3 Touring boot collection for next winter.
While I can’t ski on them right now, I’ve used lots of touring boots & there’s now doubt that this is going to be a firm favourite with those who love a long hike up, but to ski hard & fast back down, with minimal compromsie.
Check out my video below & let me know what you think.
Final Thought
These boots are great, but the XT3 Range is definitely for people who Ski Tour regularly or are starting to tour more regularly. Sure, they are fine to Ski all day on Piste too, but if you are mostly for the downhill then you should also consider some of the all Mountain Touring options, but will have to compromise on Up-Hill features.
Lastly, don’t buy boots online, visit your local specialise, the internet can’t fit your boots. UK SIGB Member Retailer list is HERE
